As summer winds down, we’re excited to invite you to the second annual Louisiana Early Childhood Symposium on Friday, October 3rd, a day dedicated to bringing together business leaders, policymakers, educators, and community advocates to discuss how high-quality early childhood education strengthens Louisiana’s workforce and economy. This year’s event will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and networking opportunities designed to highlight the importance of investing in children during their earliest years. Together, we will explore innovative strategies to expand access to child care and strengthen the foundation for Louisiana’s future. Please register here if you're interested.
Later in October, we will release findings from a statewide study of family child care. This report sheds light on a vital but often overlooked part of our state’s early childhood education infrastructure. Family child care providers are critical in supporting Louisiana’s workforce, especially for parents working nontraditional hours or in areas with limited child care options. Join us at the press conference on October 28th to learn more about key sector opportunities, with important implications for business leaders, policymakers, and economic development stakeholders. Please register here if you're interested.
As a member of the Early Childhood Business Roundtable, your leadership helps elevate the role of child care as a workforce and economic issue. By participating in these events, you are helping to build a stronger, more resilient Louisiana where children, families, and businesses can thrive.
Thank you for advocating on behalf of young children and families in Louisiana!
