September Newsletter
It’s been a busy month for our team! We have been on the move, traveling across the country to discuss the importance of early care and education. Through these visits, we have shared insights, exchanged ideas with national leaders, and highlighted the need for investment in young children’s futures. Our efforts aim to strengthen early childhood systems not only in Louisiana but nationwide, ensuring all children have access to high-quality early care and education.
If you haven’t already gotten your ticket, please join us on October 17th to celebrate a decade of advocacy, research, and policy work dedicated to improving the lives of Louisiana’s youngest learners. The evening will honor the incredible progress made over the past ten years and shine a light on the work still ahead to ensure that a stronger Louisiana starts with successful children. Don't miss this special milestone event!
In partnership with the Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana, the College of Education and Human Sciences, and SciTech, the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children is hosting an Early Childhood Fall Symposium. Please save the date for Friday, November 15th, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. The registration link will be shared soon.
This symposium brings together researchers, policymakers, business leaders, early childhood education (ECE) system leaders, and community advocates to engage in meaningful discussions on advancing early care and education in our state. Your participation would greatly contribute to the ongoing efforts to shape the future of Louisiana's youngest learners.
Thank you for advocating on behalf of young children and families in Louisiana!
