October has been a month of exciting events and milestones for the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children! We hosted our 10th Anniversary Gala Celebration, where we gathered with partners, supporters, and community advocates to honor a decade of impact on early childhood education in Louisiana. This month, our CEO, Libbie Sonnier, PhD, spoke alongside Sen. Beth Mizell and Rep. Barbara Freiberg as a part of LABI’s podcast, The Biz. They discussed the ongoing conversations at the Capitol and how Louisiana businesses can help address the lack of quality child care options for families across the state.
