This month, the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children was accepted into the second cohort of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Early Childhood and Business Advisory Council. The Early Childhood and Business Advisory Council brings together state-and-local chambers of commerce with key early childhood education stakeholders, including state and local early childhood advocates, business owners, and state administrations, to drive progress in communities where significant barriers to child care exist. This initiative is aimed at expanding high-quality, affordable child care in communities and states across the country.
The Louisiana Policy Institute for Children’s Executive Director, Libbie Sonnier, will serve on the “Importance of Early Education” panel hosted by Forum225 and the Leadership Baton Rouge Alumni Board on August 17th.
